Walter P. "Scout" Salizzoni, 86, of Rimersburg, PA passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

He was born Aug. 15, 1938 in Huey, Clarion County, the son of Virgil and Joyce (Bobbert) Salizzoni.

Walter proudly served in the United States Navy and later found great joy in his work as a truck driver. He especially enjoyed mowing his grass and could often be found riding his John Deere tractor. Above all, Walter cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His memory will be cherished by his two sons, Walter Salizzoni, Jr. and Jesse Salizzoni and wife Rhonda all of Rimersburg; four grandchildren, Leslie Ann Salizzoni, Elizabeth Vasbinder and husband Zachery, Jesse Salizzoni and wife Caitlin, and Charles Salizzoni and fiancée Andi Edinger; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty "Sis" Anthony of Huey.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Marsha D. (Marsh) Salizzoni, whom he married on Nov. 5, 1960 and who passed away on April 28, 2016; and his brothers, Virgil and William "Bill" Salizzoni.

At Walter's request, services will be private.
