Marie L. Reesman

Marie L. Reesman, 79, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023 at her home.

She was born on Feb. 26, 1944 in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of John Joseph Altmeyer, Sr. and Mae Edna (Rea) Altmeyer.

Marie was the co-owner and business office manager of Reesman's Body Shop in Kittanning, PA. She greeted the customers and worked alongside her husband, Bob for many years. When not at the shop, Marie enjoyed shopping, cooking and baking for her loved ones. She loved hosting picnics for every holiday, making every one a cherished and memorable event for her family. Marie had a passion for helping others and her world revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the heart and joy.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Robert A. "Bob" Reesman; her sons Kenneth W. Reesman and wife Lisa of Kittanning and Michael A. Reesman and wife Leanne of Dayton; grandchildren, Keena M. Stafford, Keith M. Reesman and wife Meghan, Shawn R. Reesman and wife Kayla, Katie L. Reesman and Solomon Reed, and Jesse M. Reesman and fiancé Shayla Cessna; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Ellie, Quinn, Vanessa, and Wesley.

Marie is also survived by her brother, John J. Altmeyer and wife Linda of Whitesburg and her sister, Diana L. Herbst and husband Ronald of Hamburg.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William E. "Bill" Altmeyer; and sisters, Shirley M. Woodside and Sandy Lee Altmeyer

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday, Nov.26, 2023, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, at the funeral home with the Pastor Jason Bowser officiating.

Interment will be in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
