Janice L. Turney

Janice L. Turney, 84, of Kittanning, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Kittanning Care Center.

She was born June 27, 1937 in Butler, PA to Arthur K. and Dorothy E. (Kunselman) Pyle.

Janice was a 1955 graduate of Kittanning High School. She lived most of her live in the Kittanning area and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her two sons, Daniel L. Turney and wife, Donna of Shelocta, PA and Blair Michael Turney and wife, Kathy Fairchild of Dalton, GA; grandson, Jakob A. Turney; granddaughter, Lee Anne Barrett and husband, David; and five great-grandchildren.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas A. Pyle.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, PA 16201.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home with Rev. Deb Kociban officiating.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in East Franklin Township, PA.
