Rodney J. Drayer

Rodney J. "Crow" Drayer, 74, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at his home.

He was born on April 2, 1950 in Brookville, PA; the son of James A. and Wilda L. (Gourley) Drayer.

Rodney was a member of the Baker Street Church of God in Rimersburg. He worked for Jessie Buzzard Trucking where he worked as a truck driver for over 20 years. Rodney enjoyed spending time with his brothers while hunting or skeet shooting at the Rimersburg Rod and Gun Club. Those who knew Rodney will lovingly remember his sarcastic sense of humor and unpredictable joy of what he might say next.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Diana L. (Wensel) Drayer, whom he married on Feb. 14, 1970; daughters, Sabrina Wetzel and husband Martin of Rimersburg, Malinda Myers of New Bethlehem, Farrah Corle of Sligo, and Stacey Drayer and wife Martina of New York; grandchildren, Greg (Kenley) Duncan, Daniel (Kassie Wensel) Duncan, Trevor Myers, Tyler Myers, Destiny Corle, and Piper Corle; great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Ellie-Mae, Emberlyn, Kyra, Enna, and Amaria; and his brothers, Steven (Maya) Drayer of VA and Keith (Anna) Drayer of New Bethlehem.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family will be received from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11AM at Baker Street Church of God, 160 Veteran St., Rimersburg on Monday, March 31, 2025 with Rev. John A. Milliron officiating.

Interment will be in Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattonville, PA
