Jamie Lynn (Ritchey) Graham

Jamie Lynn (Ritchey) Graham age 55, born August 8, 1967 to James and Peggy (Schreckengost) Ritchey of Kittanning, PA passed away at Pittsburgh's Presbyterian Hospital on July 8, 2022.

Jamie was a 1985 graduate of Kittanning Senior High School and graduated from Slippery Rock University, where she majored in Physical Education. She worked as a substitute Phys Ed teacher for a few years in the Armstrong School District, and later at Duquesne University as the bookstore manager. Jamie was diagnosed with Primary Pulmonary Hypertension, a terminal disease, at age 42, which she valiantly battled for 13 years. Jamie lived in Harmar Township with her husband (Randy) and two children (Lucas and Addison) for several years, before moving to the Ellwood City area. She and her two adult children recently moved to Youngstown, Ohio.

She was a passionate dog lover and avid sports fan, especially the Steelers and the Penguins. Jamie will be remembered for her over-the-top Steelers decorations, placed all around the room for every game. As many know, Jamie was a very strong-willed person. That attitude, and the support of her husband and children, greatly aided her in her constant fight against the devastating PH disease. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Jamie is survived by her husband and two children, her parents, her sister Leanne Smouse (Kevin and loving nieces Jadyn and Aspen) of Blawnox, her uncle Dudley Ritchey of Butler, her aunt Mary Lou Zellefrow of Kittanning, and her aunt Kathy Black (Bruce) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

A private "celebration of life" will be held with family and friends in the near future.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jamie's memory to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association at phassociation.org/donate/
