Joann Jane Ramer

Joann Jane Ramer, 71, of Liverpool, PA, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at her residence.

She was born November 28, 1944 in Rural Valley, PA, the daughter of Walter L. Schreckengost and Agnes E. (Brown) Schreckengost-Erdek.

Joann loved spending time with her family and friends, and also enjoyed helping with school functions for her children and grandchildren. Playing bingo on the computer and at the local fair was one of her favorite hobbies, and she will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Harold E. Ramer, of Rural Valley; daughter, Tina Whitesel, of Liverpool, PA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold L. Schreckengost; and sister, Evelyn M. Schreckengost.

Relatives and friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 12 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc., 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA, with the Rev. Edward Gray officiating.

Burial will be in Harkleroad Cemetery, Rural Valley, PA.
