Pauline M. Schultze

Pauline M. Schultze, 78, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the Armstrong County Health Center surrounded by her family.

She was born September 7, 1936, in Yatesboro, PA, the daughter of Edward Heckman and Edith (Umbaugh) Heckman Robinson.

Pauline was a lifetime resident of the area and loved caring for her family. She was talented at crocheting and often made gifts for family, friends and even strangers. Pauline loved taking trips to Hershey and Lancaster. She was a wonderful cook and baker, and made apple dumplings every day for her husband, James.

Pauline will be deeply missed by her loving husband, James Schultze, whom she married September 12, 1951; daughters, Donna Kovar and husband, Gary, of Ford City, and Barbara Crawford and husband, Jim, of North Apollo; grandchildren, Jennifer Zeravica and husband, Dennis, of Irwin, Lisa Campbell and husband, Tim, of Leeper, Kimberly Scopel and husband, David, of Kannapolis, NC, and Christopher Crawford and partner, Jen, of East Vandergrift; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, James Heckman, of Kittanning, Wayne Heckman, of Ohio, and Dale Heckman, of Clarksburg, TN; sister, Dorothy Thomas, of Kittanning; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert and William Heckman; and sister, Sara Carpenter.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning,

Funeral services will be private.

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.

Pauline was a recipient of a liver transplant in 2000 and was a 15-year survivor.
